You do NOT have to draw a picture or use a number line if you do not want to. Remember when you are dividing fractions you flip the second fraction then multiply. So, if you are dividing 3 and 1/3, it would really be 3 divided by 3, then multiply, which would be 9. Another example: 4 divided by 1/2. When we flip the second fraction, we get 2. The problem then becomes 4 times 2 which would be 8.
